Practical information about 10forKIDS after-school care
10forKIDS offers after-school care to children in the age of 4 to 12 years old.
Thanks to our small-scale organization, we can give all children personal attention. At 10forKIDS we work with themes. The program offers workshops that introduce children to various challenging sports and play activities and workshops. We have small groups (up to 22 children) in order to guarantee the best (personal) care and quality.
Working with children under the age of nine requires a different method from that of children over the age of nine. Children under nine need more protection and supervision. Offering children the right care, love and attention, is the most important thing at 10forKIDS.

Play and activities: workshops!
The educational staff is in charge of organising and guiding free play as well as planned group activities, both inside and outside. Free play is by far the most popular option because children can then choose what they want to do and who they want to play with. Organised activities are a welcome alternative to free play where children are stimulated to do something that they may not have thought of during free play. It also offers children some active events during their free time. 10forKIDS finds it very important to therefore offer enough and a varied selection of activities. This often takes shape in the form of workshops. Children can then show some initiative, think and plan together with their teachers and receive more responsibility at 10forKIDS. This way they learn to consult and think about what they want, listen to what others want and together figure out what the options are.
