Playing with Duplo and Lego is very useful for:
– Fine motor skills: try taking a block and make a tower. For young children, this is a good exercise for fine motor skills.
– Cognitive development: name the place where the block has to come. On it, next to it or behind it. These are all language concepts you can practice very well with Duplo and Lego.
And… does the building remain standing? Balancing can sometimes be a little difficult, but the children see that some buildings remain standing and others do not.
– Social and emotional development: when the children at 10forKIDS are playing with Duplo and Lego toys they share with each other, make agreements and work together.
Besides being fun, Lego and Duplo is very educational!
